Imperial Stout aged for eight months in rum barrels from Brix Distilling, a local Sydney rum distillery that is a favourite of ours. A pitch black, rich, roasty ale with caramel notes. Aging in rum barrels imparts additional complexity including brown sugar, toffee and vanilla notes.
