Kuchisabishii is a uniquely Japanese word meaning Lonely Mouth and describing the act of eating or drinking when youre not actually hungry or thirsty. We thought it was a perfect name for our Japanese Rice Lager with Yuzu which we think is delicious whether youre hungry or not. Brewed by turning our kettle into a Cereal Cooker and making enough rice for a small army before introducing the cooked rice into a light pilsner malt mash. We used a neutral lager yeast strain and added Yuzu and Lime post fermentation to give a delicately balanced lager with some citrus complexity.
