Froth Technologies has been producing exciting craft yeast throughout New Zealand since 2019 and now its finally making its way to Australia and weve been given the opportunity to experiment with some strands. To showcase what each yeast can do, we’ve brewed two identical beers in terms of water profile, malt bill and hop profile, but changed up the yeast on each.
Socks features Vape (FT02) and a dry hop addition of a highly elusive, hop – HBC 1019 from our friends at Yakima Chief.
The combination creates a unique flavour profile of melon, peaches, passionfruit and lychee that’s best enjoyed whilst sitting in your socks and jocks.
