Embracing our newfound love of marrying beer and wine production, Two Shoulders explores a delicate balance of skin contact winemaking, oak ageing and crisp clean beer. 2 tonnes of sauvignon blanc grapes grown outside of Orange NSW were pressed and fermented on skins. Meanwhile, a light pale base beer was brewed and fermented with ale yeast – the 2 ferments were then blended and aged on American oak for 7 months. Aromas of fresh citrus and oak combine on the nose before a light acid profile hits your front palette and a subtle tartness creeps down the jawline. The finish is crisp and dry leaving you with the lingering complexity to ponder. Two Shoulders pours bright, with a light golden orange hue and a fine beaded carbonation from bottle conditioning and is best served at 8-10C. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 5 years.
