Mount Frome is a mixed culture wild ale made with a blend of grain & grapes. Making the best of a terrible situation, smoke affected shiraz grapes were picked at Golbert Family Wines at Mudgee, NSW and then pressed and blended with a base beer brewed at Yulli’s Sydney brewery before fermenting and ageing in ex-shiraz French oak barrels for 7 months. Mount Frome pours rose in colour, with a fine beaded carbonation from bottle conditioning. Expect funk, spice, cherry, oak, tannin and a unique smoke finish.
